hunter wescott, pga associate professional

Hunter Wescott started golf at 12 years old, playing golf with his father when he would get a break from playing club soccer. He started playing junior golf over at Rock Creek CC in 2010 and beginning playing amateur tournaments in the OGA in 2011. With continued success through the golf program at Westview High School Hunter earned a scholarship to play at Dominican College (NY). He broke numerous school records while being an All-Region golfer and helping his team qualify for its first National Championship appearance in 2017.

After college Hunter moved back to Oregon and continued his amateur career, achieved impressive accomplishments including competing in the US Mid Am, qualifying for the Hudson Cup team and finishing atop the OGA Points race. As 2022 rolled around Hunter felt it was time and began the process of joining NW Golf Guys and beginning the process for becoming a PGA Associate.

Hunter lives and breathes golf whether it’s playing, practicing, or teaching. His goal is to help others find the same joy that golf has brought him over the years. “I want golf to be fun for everyone of all skill levels and I hope to help open everyone up to that world of golf. Students will become their own coach through the passed on knowledge of the fundamentals of golf and success will follow in stride.”
